Happy Salmon River Days to All!
Rain or shine, hot or cold the Lemhi County Farmers’ Market is hosting their first Flea Market on July 4 and 5 with extended hours on Friday until 4 pm and Saturday until 3 pm.
The Flea Market is a first and includes vendors with fine art, handmade jewelry to collectables. One vendor is closing her bead business and is bringing her inventory for sale. Even the Farmers’ Market vendors are bringing their flea market items.
Please don’t forget to check out the informational booth of the Student Conservation Association. CSA’s mission is to build the next generation of conservation leaders and inspire lifelong stewardship of the environment and communities by engaging young people in hands-on service to the land.
The Farmers’ Market has some of the best foods in town. Dawn Nardella has delicious tamales, beans and rice for lunch as well as caramel corn for snacking as you stroll through the market. Pick up some frozen tamales for another meal. Watch for the cherry jams and jellies and cherry cobbler. Our newest food vendor, Poker Pizza, bakes BBQ pizza on the premises using a wood and briquette oven. The Kitchen has on hand tasty breakfast burritos and hot coffee. The morning is the best time to pick up your freshly picked produce. Don’t forget your eggs and bread!
Visiting face painting artists Romi and Kenna are returning to Salmon for both days under the Pavilion. Be sure to capture the moment by stopping by Booth 3 PhotographyByJesse.com for a professional photograph for just $5.00.
The market now sports a knife sharpening booth. You can have not only your knives but also your gardening tools and scissors sharpened while you wait at Mind Your Fingers Sharpening.
Dr Morgan Castle, Chiropractor, of Salmon River Chiropractic is available with a free spinal screening. He is a wealth of information, so be sure to stop by and obtain some knowledge. Knowledge is power!
The market has beautiful handcrafted, one-of-a-kind indoor & outdoor furniture as well as re-purposed furniture for sale. Please visit K Mountain Woodcrafts, Burl Furniture, Torbett’s Treasures and Dylan Brewer.
Rustic Knives showcases antler handled knives from elk sheds found locally. Each knife is guaranteed for workmanship and the knife’s style and purpose. Bob Klich is having a special on letter openers this weekend.
Diane Klich has new felted items for sale including tiny fairies under mushrooms plus a full line of brooches.
