Senior Class Pancake Breakfast at the Farmers’ Market

The 2014 season of the Lemhi County Farmers’ Market is nearing its close with the last day being 9/27/14.  And do we have surprises for you each week!

This weekend is the annual Senior Pancake Breakfast in the Pavilion. Come out and enjoy a hearty breakfast prepared by our seniors.  Proceeds from this event go directly to the senior graduation and trip expenses.  Plus this Saturday is our flea market.  Bring your items you’ve wanted to get rid of and reach a large crowd of people.

So be sure to make a note on your list of things to do and visit the Lemhi County Farmers’ Market.  Take home your freshly picked vegetables, herbs, fruit, honey, and a host of canned and baked goods to be enjoyed the whole week.  Visit with the artisans who create beautiful items for yourself and your home.  Shannon Weaver of The Kitchen will have available printouts and samples of her end of season garden relish and a fresh batch of homemade apple butter.

Diane Klich’s herb vinegars will be on sale for these final 3 weeks which are great for the holidays for use and gift giving.  She has a lot of new felted items, including pumpkins, mushrooms, owls, frogs and a couple of grizzly bears.

Thanks to a generous donation from the Kiwanis the Lemhi County Farmers’ Market is able to extend a helping hand to recipients of the food stamp program.  For a limited time clients can receive an additional $10.00 of funds for shopping at the market.  Purchases of farm fresh produce, breads, eggs, jams, jelly, and meat are all available at the market.  Please stop by the market manager’s booth for more information on how you can stretch your food budget each week.

You can change your world and make it a better place by visiting the Lemhi County Farmer’s Market every week and supporting our local farmers and artisans.  Be sure to “like” us on Facebook and visit our website at  If you would like more information on how you can participate in the Lemhi County Farmers’ Market, please contact market manager Julie Parker at 208.643.4581 or via email
