Last Lemhi County Farmers’ Market This Saturday

The Lemhi County Farmers’ Market is closing for the season after this Saturday, 9/27/14. And plans are in the making for a great closing to carry us through the winter and into spring.

Since all of the Farmers’ Market vendors will be on board and the doors are open to all for Flea Market vendors, we would like to extend a welcoming hand to service organizations as well. Do you have a home based business you would like to promote? Planning for the holidays or looking for something “unusual” for your themed party? Selling raffle tickets, looking for donations, recruiting members for your organization, or an informational booth are a few suggestions. All both space fees are waved for this last day only. Please call market manager Julie Parker at 208.643.4581 or via email for more information. All spaces will be assigned by the evening of Thursday, 9/25/14.

Note on your list of things to do this week: a visit to the Lemhi County Farmers’ Market. Take home your freshly picked vegetables, herbs, fruit, honey, and a host of canned and baked goods to be enjoyed the whole week. Watch for the freshly picked apples and ripe pears. There will be some demonstrations by vendors during the course of the morning as well.

Be sure to visit with the artisans who create beautiful items for yourself and your home. The crafters are taking orders now for special handmade items for the holidays. It’s never too early to think “holidays”.

The 2014 Lemhi County Farmers’ Market vendors would like to say “Thank you” to all of you who supported our efforts to bring fresh fruit, vegetables and creative talents to everyone in our community.

See you at the market!
